Abstract

The article deals with the general approaches for construction and today’s trends in development of train control systems for high-speed rail lines, taking into account the data transmission principles, such as cable loops, track circuits and radio, as well as the general architecture of train control systems for high-speed rail lines. The paper shows that advanced train control systems for high-speed rail lines feature significant adaptation and integration of legacy command and control systems, as well as hybridization of control loops providing for the redundancy of radio control loop with coded track circuits to increase the safety and resilience of the systems.

Abstract

The article explores the methods of forming routes in conditions of changing traffic conditions or a dynamic situation surrounding the vehicle. These conditions are called conditions of increased variability, and such routes are called variable routes. Variable routes arise in a metropolis in conditions of unsteady traffic flows, in conditions of counteraction to movement, in some types of tourist services, when there is an unpredictable interest in visiting an object. A feature of variable routes is their unpredictability and deviation from the original plan, they are characterized by information uncertainty, and decision support information systems are used to form and reshape them. To account for and select alternative routes, an agent-based approach was used in this work.

Abstract

The article explores the class of ergatic transport systems and reveals the content of such systems. The differences between the human-machine system and the ergatic system are shown in terms of parameters and areas of application. Structural diagrams of the human-machine system and the ergatic system are given. The features of ergatic transport systems are described from the standpoint of complex systems and from the standpoint of system analysis. The main idea of the article is that intelligent transport systems and transport cyber-physical systems are not effective in emergency situations. In these cases it is necessary to use ergatic transport systems. Intelligent models and intelligent interfaces lead to the creation of intelligent ergatic transport systems. It is these systems that complement ITS and TCPS.

Abstract

The article describes the methods of projecting the Earth's surface onto a plane and the rules for establishing the relationship (correspondence) between the geodetic coordinates of the points of the Earth's ellipsoid and the rectangular coordinates of the same points on the plane. The equiangular projections used to solve geodesic problems on the plane are considered in detail: the Gauss-Kruger projection, the universal Mercator UTM projection, the equiangular conic Lambert projection.

Abstract

The article explores the methods of interpretation used in intelligent transport systems. the systematics of types of interpretation is given. The current state and development trends of intelligent transport systems are given. the influence of the problem of "big data" on the functioning of intelligent transport systems is noted. Multiple interpretation, information interpretation, system interpretation, hypothetical interpretation, object interpretation, situational interpretation are described. The basic rules of interpretation are described. The difference between situational and object interpretation is shown. An equifinal interpretation is described as a tool for increasing reliability. Direct and reverse interpretation is described as a tool for removing information uncertainty. The systematics of application of interpretation methods for solving problems of intelligent transport systems is given.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the presented work is to create an effective information and service infrastructure designed to support the implementation of railway infrastructure management processes. We are talking about the creation of a modern system of information support and continuous provision of data from various sensors that perform constant and regular monitoring of the infrastructure and objects of railway transport with software and hardware for automated monitoring. Here, one of the priorities can be the development of the architecture of a unified system for collecting information from stations for receiving and transmitting data to a repository that accumulates heterogeneous remote sensing data for operational monitoring systems and geospatial data with cartographic materials. There is also a need for technology for describing and processing multi-format geospatial data based on meta descriptions with the structure of the corresponding catalogs.

Abstract

The article considers the issue of the influence of a multimodal transport system on the organization of tourist transportation in the context of an increase in demand for this type of tourism from the population and the interest of the state. Multimodal tourist routes allow you to combine different modes of transport, such as rail, road, water and air, in one route, while reducing the load on the transport network compared to unimodal routes. This allows the tour operator to choose the most convenient and cost-effective mode of transportation for a group of tourists, and also reduces travel time and cost. When forming a tourist multimodal route, it is necessary to assess the potential of the desired locations for tourism resources, as well as determine their attractiveness for customers, take into account the cost of travel time for a passenger on this type of transport, the optimal duration of the vehicle and the transfer time for passengers between transportation links in order to create the most efficient and convenient route for tourists.
