Abstract

The article examines digital control of moving objects. It is shown that such control is situational, the main four models of information situations that arise when controlling moving objects are described. It is shown that the interaction between information situations leads to the emergence of new information situations, and analog control is de facto digital. Digital control integrates information control, intelligent control and cyber-physical control. As the speeds in rail transport increase, a tendency towards distributed and cyber-physical control is noted. The development of control algorithms for transport tasks is shown.

Abstract

The development of transport systems is characterized by informatization and digitalization, and this determines the methods of management and analysis of transport systems. The main task of the transportation process is to optimize the transportation of goods from points of departure to points of consumption, with minimal transportation costs (transport problem). Modern transportation conditions and market relations increasingly exclude the possibility of using classical methods for solving the transport problem. A new method for solving the transport problem under additional conditions is proposed, while allowing for a mismatch in the actions of suppliers, consumers, and an imbalance between needs and shipment. For these conditions, a modified method for solving the transport problem is proposed, which reduces the imbalance of the solution under any transportation conditions.

Abstract

The article discusses the problem of personnel shortage in the railway industry, especially among train drivers, and proposes a solution through train automation. Automation allows reducing the need for personnel, increasing the capacity of railway lines, and improving the safety and energy efficiency of transportation. The factor of perception of unmanned technologies by passengers and their attitude towards different levels of automation are considered. The technological readiness of solutions for the implementation of unmanned systems in the railway industry is discussed.

Abstract

The article examines threats to transport cyberspace as an objective reality as a result of technological development of society. The emergence of cyberspace has led to the emergence of cyber threats, which in some cases are information threats, and in other cases have their own specifics. A structural diagram of transport cyberspace is given, which determines the emergence of threats. Compared with other types of cyberspace, transport cyberspace has the largest number of connections and relationships within itself. Cybersecurity is a more general concept compared to information security. General and specific classifications of threats to transport cyberspace are considered. Methods for combating threats are noted. For these conditions, a modified method for solving the transport problem is proposed, which reduces the imbalance of the solution under any transportation conditions.

Abstract

The paper considers an approach that allows taking into account both the situational nature of geo concepts and the semantics of geo objects when forming a geodata database of railway geo descriptions. Research in recent years has shown that the best support for a geodata database is provided if concepts are developed in accordance with the specifics of emerging transport situations. To reduce the need to change the geodata schema in geographic information environments, it is necessary to use the structures and functions of situational geographical concepts. The paper presents an approach in which a geoinformation context is linked to concepts, which allows for the extraction of contexts from a geodata database and their interpretation. This helps to uncover the implicit aspects of geodata, add empirical components to geontology, and expand the context of geodata represented in geodata databases. It is assumed that when forming a geodata database of railway geo-descriptions, ontological assumptions about the features of roads can be made, while compatibility problems are solved by formalizing research and practical experience in the open exchange of research results.

Abstract

The article studies a new technology of situational routing with the substantiation of the introduction of such a concept. The current state of transport networks is characterized by an increase in the number of moving objects and the complexity of control, as well as the presence of variability, and in these conditions, traditional routing methods become ineffective. Examples of using a number of methods to solve problems of optimizing transport network routes are given, and situational routing is proposed as an alternative. Four types of information situations used in the transport network are introduced, the use of which is the basis for situational routing. It is shown that reducing the network to information situations reduces the dimension of the optimization matrix and reduces the computation time for analyzing. Two network structures are introduced: physical structure and flow structure. In complex transport networks, it is necessary to distinguish between two topological models or topologies: structural and throughput. When external influences occur on the network, a mismatch between them is possible. Situational routing eliminates such a mismatch and allows solving the optimization problem for new conditions. The possibility of using metamodeling to optimize routing in the transport network is noted.

Abstract

The article describes the results of the study of the information space used for the digital railway. The development of the digital railway serves as the basis for the formation of a multimodal transport system. The information space is an effective way to optimize communication and facilitate the smooth operation of individual operations in the transport system. The relationship between the digital railway and digital communication is revealed. The structure of the digital railway is described taking into account the information space. The relationship of the information space of the digital railway with the geoinformation space and the coordinate space is shown. The need to use geoinformatics in the information space of the digital railway is substantiated. The main technological components of the digital railway are described. The role of the information space in the development of the digital railway is shown.
