DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT LOGISTICS

EDN: EONHSE

Abstract

The article conducts a study of the current state and development of transport logistics. It is noted that currently there are about twenty different types of logistics and it continues to develop. The systematics of the main types of logistics associated with transportation is given. The features and differences of these logistics are revealed. A systematic approach leads to the concept of a logistics system. An analysis of the main components of the logistics system is given. The content of logistics services is disclosed. The importance of logistics systems in modern transport logistics is described. The importance of transportation as a service technology is shown. Shows the difference between normal transportation of goods and transportation as a logistics component. The value of spatial modeling in logistics processes is shown. The role of geoinformatics in logistics is described. The taxonomy of types of modeling in logistics is given.
